About Namaskara Masks
The name, begins with understanding the sanskrit greetings Namasté and Namaskar.

The literal meaning of Namasté is “I bow towards you”, and the meaning of Namaskar is
“I bow towards your existence.” Namasté is used to greet others in general ,
while Namaskar is used to show more love and respect.

It's our mission to offer Namaskar, expressed as Namaskara Masks, honoring all beings with love and respect.
The mission, began with our nation experiencing an extreme shortage of N95 medical masks, and face coverings became mandatory in some states and countries. I dove into learning what made a N95 mask so effective and worked through many DIY designs to create Namaskara protective masks.

What makes N95 masks so effective against virus infection is their form to face design and electro-statically charged material with the active ingredient citric acid embedded into the material.

The non-woven fabric used in Namaskara protective masks gives the structure for the form to face fit, and each mask is treated with a mixture of alcohol and powdered citric acid, with lemon essential oil to sanitize mask fabrics and surfaces.
Namaskara protective masks are distinctive because they have 1-2 layers of non-woven fabric that offers filtration of 42 grams density per meter. To compare, the non-woven fabric used in surgical masks is 2 layers of 25 grams density per sq meter. They are also washable, reversible, adjustable and have a unique button release design.

These masks are not medical masks. Please maintain suggested precautions while wearing.
Always take your face cover on and off by the elastic around ears and avoid touching the mask or your face. Wash your hands before and after removing. Namaskara protective masks are washable, and can be machine or hand washed in hot, soapy water. If not possible at the time, spray with alcohol and/or set in sunlight face up until next use. After wash and dry, a quick hot iron press will reshape it for you.
